Self-Healing Infrastructure Controller
The Idea
A control plane that watches Docker containers, Traefik routes, and PostgreSQL health. When a service misbehaves, it runs diagnostics, rolls back bad deploys, scales under load, or alerts the right channel — all via configurable playbooks.
The Achievement
Survived the 'Chaos Hour' — a 60-minute gauntlet where organizers randomly killed services, corrupted databases, and flooded traffic. My system auto-healed 14 of 16 failures without manual intervention. The 2 it couldn't fix? It paged me with accurate diagnostic context.
Tech Stack
Key Learning
"Self-healing is 90% observability and 10% automation. If you can't measure it, you can't fix it. The winning strategy was investing in good health checks and structured logging first, then layering recovery logic on top."
