A small first milestone
The build opens with a short discovery sprint: a system architecture diagram, a tech stack recommendation with the reasons, an infrastructure cost estimate, the main risks, and a phased build roadmap with timeline estimates. It is part of the small first milestone, so you keep all of it and either of us can stop after that milestone.
Why it costs less
Every product needs sign-in, teams, payments, emails, backups and a way to deploy. Built from scratch, that is weeks of work before your idea even starts. I keep those parts in Seed, with browser tests that run on every change. Your project starts from there, so the weeks you pay for go to your product, and because Seed is public, any developer you hire later can read how it works.
What's included
I build your product from idea to live deployment: authentication, payments, an API and an admin panel, deployed on servers you own. The price and the timeline say "from" because they depend on the scope, and you get a quote for your scope before any work starts.

Questions before you book
Who does the work?
I do. I build greenfield SaaS solo, or with a team I assemble for the project from my own pool of senior developers, and only seniors. I also join existing teams.
Do I need to know anything technical?
No. I explain every decision in plain words, with its cost and its trade-off, and you choose.
Do you work fixed price or hourly, and what happens when the scope changes?
Both. I work fixed price when the scope is fixed, and hourly for staff augmentation, code reviews, or when the work is open-ended. On hourly work I bill only the hours I spend on your project, never the time an AI agent runs on its own. If the scope changes once we have started, you get a quote for the change before I start on it — no surprise costs.
Can I hire another developer later?
Yes. Seed is public and documented, so any TypeScript developer can pick it up. Code, accounts, servers and keys are in your name.
Does my code go to an AI provider?
Yes. I work with AI coding agents, so the code I work on is sent to an AI model provider. The agents work to my written rules and my definition of quality, a separate reviewer agent checks every change, and nothing reaches you until it passes that review. Every week I audit the work myself, to make sure the project is on the right track and the quality is still high. If your company has its own AI account, I can work through that one, so your code stays under your contract. If your policy rules out AI tools, tell me on the call and we agree how to handle it before any work starts.
What if I don't have a clear idea yet?
Send me a paragraph about your idea or problem as a written brief and I will write back with 3 concrete architectural improvements. No cost, no pitch.
